My name is Augusto Pellis. For over thirty-five years I have been designing and evolving business software: I started when ERPs ran on the desktop and I carried them — without ever breaking continuity — to the modern web and to artificial intelligence.
I don't see myself as just a developer: I'm the architect and founder behind d.a.r.Win and the systems born from it. I know code and business processes equally well — accounting, warehouse, logistics, tax — and that lets me build software companies actually use, for decades.
01 the path
Four eras, one evolution
v1.0— 2000sthe foundations
d.a.r.Win, the ERP
With Delphi I built a complete desktop ERP: warehouse, accounting, invoicing, tax. Dozens of interconnected modules, adopted by hundreds of companies. It's the project that taught me to write software that must work every day, for years — and indeed it's still alive and updated after more than two decades.
v2.0— 2010sgoing web
Business logic goes web
With UniGUI I brought the desktop experience into the browser: multi-company platforms, warehouse management systems, document portals with digital signature, OLAP analytics on historical data. The challenge wasn't to redo everything, but to move complex logic onto web architectures without losing reliability.
v3.0— since 2023modernization
The core rewritten in TypeScript
I embraced Node.js, React and end-to-end TypeScript, rewriting the ERPs as API-first, type-safe, multi-company platforms. Always with the same principle: incremental modernization, one module at a time, with bridges between old and new — never a demolition, never downtime.
v4.0— since 2024the AI era
AI inside the processes
Today I embed AI into real systems, not demos: privacy-first document intelligence, agents that automate quotes and processes, computer vision for CAD, multi-agent orchestrators. The technology changes, the method stays: bring it into workflows with control and confidentiality.
02 how i work
My method
Evolution, not revolution
I modernize systems one piece at a time, with bridges between old and new. The business keeps working while the software grows.
Privacy and control
Client and data confidentiality at the center: AI and integrations designed to keep everything under control, even on-premises.
Full-stack ownership
From the database schema to the interface: one vision from start to finish, with no hand-offs that dilute quality.
Software that lasts
I build for the long run. d.a.r.Win has been alive for over twenty years: longevity, to me, is a feature.
